Phase 2 Resurfacing - Completed
PennDOT also completed the Phase 2 Resurfacing project that repaved I-476 between Lawrence Road and I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Marple, Lower Merion, Haverford, and Radnor townships, and the Borough of West Conshohocken. Similar to the previous phase of work, the Phase 2 Resurfacing project improved the ride quality while increasing the highway’s skid resistance and minimizing the potential for ponding when it rains. This work began in March 2006 and finished in November 2006.
