Current Construction Activities

Listed here are the current ongoing construction activities on the bridges and on the roadway section of I-476

Winter 2012

On the I-476 Roadway between I-76 and Mid-County Interchange

• Major work completed, original traffic patterns restored (Nov. 1)
• Complete minor construction items on northbound and southbound roadway
• Complete repairs, painting on bridge sub-structures

 

On the Schuylkill River Bridges

• Re-decking of Northbound and Southbound bridges completed.
• Repainting underside components of Northbound and Southbound bridge has been completed.
